Teen Wolf: On Fire by Nancy Holder

Fans of Teen Wolf absolutely will love this book, because it holds all of the elements of the show with a literary twist. It was a bit difficult to start it off, as it attaches itself to a former episode in season one and trails off from there. But once you get into it it's hard to get out.

My favorite parts were the chapters from Derek's perspective. In the show he's such a mysterious character and we don't get to see too much into his head, but in this book we see much more than we could have hoped. With flashbacks to Derek's past leading up the the fateful fire that killed his family we see a side to Derek Hale we never saw in the show.

There were parts I wished the author would have capitalized on. One of them being Stiles. His character is no doubt the funniest in all of the show, and I feel he was tossed aside a little too carelessly in this novel. The parts he was involved in were spectacular, but they were too far in between all of the Derek angst and the Scott and Alison kissing.

This was definitely a great book, and I highly recommend it to all Teen Wolf fans!

Four out of Five stars!
